If you have access to SystmOnline you can send non-urgent messages and photos and we will aim to respond in 48 hours. Alternatively, you can send an email to the practice email address email@example.com and again, we aim to respond in 48 hours.
If you need to speak to a doctor for medical advice you can still book a telephone appointment. The GP will call you and try to deal with as much over the phone as possible. If they feel they need to see you and you do not have symptoms of COVID-19 they may ask you to come to the surgery. They may also ask you to email the surgery additional information or possibly images of a condition if needs be (such as eczema, lesions etc.)

Prescription ordering update
Please email your prescription requests to the practice email where possible (email@example.com) If you are unable to do so, please write your request down with your name, date of birth, address and the medication you require and post this into the post box at the surgery. Please do not come into the building unless absolutely necessary. Due to the increase in telephone traffic currently coming into the surgery, we are still unable to take them over the phone. If you have a nominated pharmacy, you will still be able to contact them by phone who can pass on the request to us for you. Thank you for your understanding and patience at this difficult and evolving time.
Please note when you order a repeat prescription from the surgery, any regular repeat medication (i.e daily medication and inhalers) will be set up for repeat dispensing for 6 months. This means you will be able to go the pharmacy each month and collect your medication without having to re-order it. Please note you can still only pick up one months at a time. This will not apply to PRN (when needed) medication such as creams, sprays and tablets not prescribed to take regularly. All prescriptions must now be sent electronically to a chemist of your choice. If you do not have already have a nominated pharmacy at the time of ordering and do not specify a pharmacy, they will automatically go to Peak pharmacy next to the surgery. Please do not come to the surgery to collect your prescription as it will not be here. If you have recently ordered a prescription, please do not re-order this early. We will automatically do this for you when your next one is due and you put the request in. Thank you.
Please be aware you cannot currently book an online appointment using SystmOnline or the NHS app. Due to Coronavirus outbreak, Public Health England have advised we are to triage every patient coming in for an appointment. As this is not possible when patients book an appointment online, we unfortunately have had to disable this feature for the foreseeable future.
