If you need to see a doctor urgently when we are closed, please phone 111.  An operator will take some details and pass you through to our local out of hours GP service.

You DO NOT NEED TO CALL AT 8 o'clock in the morning for routine appointments.  If your problem is urgent, please call reception as early as you are able to and you will be seen in our Urgent Care Clinic.  Routine appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.  Some appointments can be booked online - please speak to reception to obtain a username and password.


If you no longer need your appointment, it helps us and other patients if you can cancel your appointment as soon as possible.  This way, we can make sure the appointment can be offered to another patient.  You can cancel at reception, by telephone (01623 550254) or online.


The practice will be closed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month for essential staff training.


Repeat prescriptions

You can order a repeat prescription in the following ways:

Online - Click on the link at the top of this page if you have already signed up for online services with us. For more information visit our Online services page.

By post - If you wish us to return the prescriptions in the post, please include a stamped envelope.

In person - Please leave your repeat prescription slip at the desk or in the letter box (one in reception foyer, one in the wall next to the fire escape door at the side of the building) Patients can also use the electronic prescription service. If you sign up to this service your prescriptions will be sent electronically directly to a nominated pharmacy of your choice. You will still have to request the prescription as your normally would. Please contact reception if you would like to sign up.

We do not accept telephone requests

Requests will be dealt with speedily, and will be ready for collection within 48 hours.

Please order in plenty time. You will be issued with a repeat prescription slip; please tick the items you require.

It would help us if you could inform us of any changes made to your medication by the hospital.

Do not wait until you have run out! 48 hours is essential for safety reasons.

Pharmacy Collection Service

Please arrange with your pharmacist for your prescription to be collected from the surgery. Peak Pharmacy collects daily from us, but other pharmacies will not visit regularly and will only collect from us if instructed to do so by you.
